Chautara Multiple Campus (CMC) was established on 5th of Bhadra 2058 BS in Chautara-8 of Sindhupalchowk district with a view to offer higher education in the area itself.
Chautara Multiple Campus was established with the initiation of Shree Krishna Ratna Ganga Secondary School. Located at Chautara-8 of Sindhupalchowk district, it is the first public campus in the district. The campus offers wide ranges of subject choices in B.Ed., B.Sc. and BBS, affiliated to Tribhuvan University. Currently 241 students are studying in this campus. From 2075 B.S Chautara Multiple Campus (CMC) also offers Masters of Education in English and Nepali Language.
The UGC has selected the college for Scheme D and the college is also in the process of QAA certification.
Chautara Multiple Campus, a leading campus in the district, is committed to imparting quality education. The campus has an excellent modern building with 20 rooms and 4 meeting rooms, which has been made with the support of Indian Embassy. The campus has well furnished classrooms, well equipped science lab and well stocked library. Inter Campus Network has been formed with the initiation of this campus. Due to the several efforts of this network, District Development Committee provides two lakhs rupees to every college of Sindhupalchowk district.
Situated in a sound academic environment, Chautara Multiple Campus has played a vital role for developing Chautara as a centre for education. The campus also uses multi-media for teaching learning approaches. The entire college administration, management committee and teaching staff are devoted to quality education
Besides B.Ed. and BBS studies, CMC also has planned a new programme of Technical Education with an affiliation to NEB, and B. Sc. and M. Ed. Programme with an affiliation to TU.
