Atharva Business College offers the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program under the affiliation of Pokhara University. Designed to shape future business leaders and entrepreneurs, the program spans four years across eight semesters, covering a total of 120 credit hours. Program Structure:

The BBA curriculum is designed to deliver comprehensive knowledge and essential skills in management and related areas. It includes:

  • Foundation Courses (39 credits): Focuses on communication, economics, statistics, behavioral sciences, mathematics, IT, and business law.
  • Core Courses (57 credits): Offers in-depth understanding of functional areas in management including finance, marketing, HR, and operations.
  • Concentration Courses (12 credits): Allows students to specialize in an area of interest through elective tracks.
  • Elective Courses (6 credits): Social science-based courses that broaden students’ perspectives beyond business.
  • Project Work & Internship (6 credits): Includes a field-based capstone project and a mandatory 6–8 week internship for real-world exposure.

Eligibility & Admission Requirements:

Students are eligible to apply if they have:

  • Completed at least 12 years of formal education (Higher Secondary or equivalent).
  • Secured a minimum CGPA of 2.0 or 45% marks in their +2 or equivalent level.
  • Achieved at least Grade ‘D+’ in every subject in Grades 11 and 12.

Admission Process:

  • Submit the application form with the required documents:
    • Certified academic transcripts (school level and +2/A Level)
    • Character certificate
    • Migration certificate
    • Citizenship copy
  • Attend an entrance examination and a personal interview.

Note: Entrance exams are conducted individually by the college.

BBA Evaluation and Grading System

Student performance in the BBA program at Atharva Business College is evaluated in accordance with the evaluation and grading system prescribed by Pokhara University. Each course includes both internal evaluation conducted by the respective faculty member and external evaluation administered by the Office of the Controller of Examinations (COE).

To pass a course, students must secure at least a Grade D or a GPA of 1.00. However, to successfully complete the program, a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.0 (Grade C) is required.
