Tribhuvan University Institute of Science and Technology Central Department of Mathematics announces admission open for M.Phil in Mathematics.

Admission Requirements:

The applicant must have a Master’s degree in mathematics from Tribhuvan University or a university recognized by the Tribhuvan University with at least second division.

Admission Criteria:

The applicant seeking admission to the M.Phil program must appear in the entrance test of two hours conducted by the central Department of Mathematics. The entrance test questions will be based on Algebra, Analysis (Mathematical Functional and Complex) and Topology.

 Admission of the candidates will be based on the merit list (20% of M.A/M.Sc. marks + 80% of Entrance Marks) and the intake capacity.
