Registration Open for +2 Programs at KMC Lalitpur

Kathmandu Model Secondary School (KMC), a member school of the KMC Education Network at Balkumari, Lalitpur has opened registration for the following +2 programs for the new academic session:

• Ten Plus Two Science
• Ten Plus Two Management
• Ten Plus Two Law

Admission to KMC Lalitpur is highly competitive. Students must undergo a fair and rigorous selection process.

With the proactive presence and support of KMC and its qualified, dedicated management team and faculties Kathmandu Model Secondary School-Balkumari equips its students to excel in the academic arena.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have completed SEE or an equivalent level of education, securing at least a 'B' grade for enrolling in Science or a 'C+' grade in Management and Law. The minimum eligibility criteria will be determined according to the guidelines set by the NEB.

Required Documents:

• Grade sheet (original or downloaded), Digital passport-size photo
• Valid Email ID: Use a valid email ID since all the documents will be sent to that email address. After submitting the form, check your email, including the 'Spam' folder if needed. 

Entrance Test:

The Admission Committee administers the Entrance Test for various programs. The test is objective in format, and students have the option to take it either in handwritten or computer-based mode.

• SCIENCE

Entrance questions include Mathematics (35 marks), Science (35 marks), English Nepali, and GK  (30 Marks)

• MANAGEMENT

Entrance questions include Mathematics (35 marks), English (35 marks) Nepali, and GK (30 marks).

• LAW

Entrance questions include English (30 marks), Nepali ( 30 marks), and Social & GK (40 marks).

ENTRANCE RESULT

The result of the Entrance Test is generally published within 24 hours.

INTERVIEW

The successful applicants of the Entrance Test should go through the interview process to get the Admission Offer Letter if not advised otherwise.

Admit Card

The admit card for the entrance examination will be sent to your registered email. Please ensure you bring a printed copy of the admit card to the examination venue. The admit card will contain all the details about the entrance examination.

SCHOLARSHIP PROVISION

KMC provides merit/need-based scholarships under several titles. Deserving students may obtain details of the scholarship scheme from the college administration.

SPECIAL SCHOLARSHIP SCHEMES

A separate entrance test will be conducted for the students of the Government School who apply for Special Scholarships.

A Limited Number of Students will be provided this Scholarship on a Merit plus Equity Basis.

Note: The students must pass the Terminal Examinations to continue the Special Scholarships

BASIC SCHOLARSHIP SCHEMES FOR SCIENCE

Scholarship for Science in Grade XI is on the basis of Cumulative marks (Cumulative Marks = Send-up (25%) + SEE (25%) + KMC Entrance (50%) ). The Marks of Send-up and SEE will be calculated as follows:

• A+ (3.8 & above) = 25 marks
• A+ (3.65 & above) = 22 marks
• A (3.25 & above) = 20 marks
• B+ (2.85 & above) = 15 marks
