IACER Announces Admissions Open for MA and MPhil in English

The Institute of Advanced Communication, Education, and Research (IACER), located in Thapagaun, Kathmandu, has announced that admissions are open for interdisciplinary MA in English (Morning) and MPhil in English (Evening). Admission is open to all disciplines; up to 100% scholarships are available.

Eligibility

For MA English (Morning)

Students who have passed a Bachelor's degree in such academic disciplines as Law, Development Studies, Social Work, Media and Communication, Management, English literature, and Education, among other disciplines, can apply for admission to the M.A. in English program. 

In its MA program, IACER offers courses like Translation Studies, Culture and Tourism, Nepal Studies, Globalization, International Relations and Human Rights, Leisure Studies, History of Ideas, Environmental Literature, Advanced Academic Writing, Media Studies, Culture and Society, Literary Theory and Criticism, Discourses in Discipline, Film, and Fiction, and Theatre among other courses. 

 

For MPhil English (Evening)

A Master’s degree in any discipline is eligible for admission in MPhil. Notice for admission is publicly announced for the admission, and the required number of candidates are selected through an entrance examination conducted by the constituent School or the individual colleges that offer the program.

Certain scholarships are provided according to Pokhara University rules in constituent and affiliated programs.
