Admissions Open for Masters Level Programs at Kathmandu University School of Science
Kathmandu University School of Science announces admissions open across different departments for the year 2023 for the following programs:
- MSc in Environmental Science
- Specialization in Natural Resources
- Specialization in Wildlife Management
- Specialization in Glaciology
- M. Tech. in Biotechnology
- M. Tech. in Environmental Engineering
- Master by Research in Environmental Science
Last date for submission of application is September 21, 2023 (Ashwin 4, 2080 BS). Only short-listed candidates will be informed to appear for written test and/or interview.
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

Candidates should have completed 4-years Undergraduate/ Bachelors' degree in basic science or relevant subject with minimum 2.0 CGPA or 50% in aggregate score.
- But Candidates applying for Master by Research Program should have completed 4-years of Undergraduate/ Bachelors' degree at-least in first division or a CGPA of 3.0 and at-least one year of Research Experience and, also one published article in peer-reviewed journal or the journal listed by University Grant Commission.
- Candidates with 3-year undergraduate degree in any basic science requires one-year bridge course. The bridge course is available in a few programs.
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS
Application forms are available at the administrative office of the concerned departments of School of Science, Dhulikhel, Kavre, or on-line at the School of Science website: HERE (download section). Please submit completed application form along with a bank voucher of application fee of NRs. 1,500/- deposited at any branch of Nepal Investment Bank Ltd. account no.: 00501030255530, along with the photocopies of previous academic and citizenship certificates at the administrative office of the concerned departments of School of Science, Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel Kavre.
