M. S. by Research in Glaciology
Kathmandu University, School of Science. Department of Environmental Science and Engineering announces admissions open for M. S. by Research in Glaciology (in collaboration with ICIMOD and funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION INTO M. S. by Research in Glaciology
Students having completed 4 year Bachelors degree in Hydrology. Meteorology. Geosciences, Environmental Science, Erwironmental Engineering or CIA Engineering with minimum 2.0 CGPA or 50% in aggregate marks or Masters Degree with 50 % marks In the above sublects are eligible to apply. Priority will be given to clual+fied female candidates. people from marginalized groups. candidates with sound health and high altitude field work experience are encouraged to apply.
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS
Application forms are available at the university's administration office. School of Science. Block 06. Dhulechel. Kavre. or on-line at the Kathmandu University. School of Science. Department of Environmental Science & Engineering website (Graduate Application Form). Submit completed application form with application fee of Rs. 1250 along with photocopies of previous academic and citizenship certificates to the department office at Dhulikhel, Kavre.
Last date of submission of application Is Tuesday 25 August 2015.
Only short listed candidates will be informed for an interview on Friday, 28 August
2015. Orientation and classes will commence from Tuesday, 1 September 2015.
