Swostishree Gurukul, located in Sanobharyang, Kathmandu, is an IB World School offering the Primary Years Programme and the Middle Years Programme, and is a candidate for the IB Diploma Programme. Admission Guidelines

follows a structured and transparent admission process designed to ensure a smooth experience for students and parents. As an authorized IB World School, it offers internationally benchmarked education through the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Middle Years Programme (MYP), with candidacy for the Diploma Programme (DP).

Step 1: Admission Enquiry

Prospective parents can begin the admission process by submitting the online enquiry form or visiting the school’s admissions office. A designated counselor will respond with necessary information, address queries, and outline the next steps.

Step 2: Registration

Parents must complete the registration process by filling out the registration form, which is available both online and at the admissions office.

Step 3: Campus Visit and Interaction

Parents or guardians are encouraged to visit the school to understand its culture, curriculum, and teaching methodology. An appointment can be scheduled with the Principal or academic team via:

Step 4: Form Submission and Required Documents

Applicants must submit the completed admission form along with the following documents:

Required Documents:

• Copy of Birth Certificate
• Previous Year’s Report Card
• 4 recent passport-size photographs of the student
• 2 photographs of parents/guardians
• Original Transfer Certificate (TC) from the previous school
• Photocopy of Passport (mandatory for international students)
• Original academic certificates (for verification)

Parents must also complete and sign the admission documentation booklet, which outlines the school's key policies and expectations.

Step 5: Admission Decision and Fee Payment

• Admissions are granted on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on seat availability.
• The school does not conduct formal interviews with students or parents.
• Upon selection, the applicable admission fees must be paid within seven (7) days to confirm enrollment.
• The decision of the Admission Committee is final in all matters related to admission.

Step 6: Parent Orientation Program

Before the commencement of the academic session, the school organizes a Parent Orientation Program. This session introduces parents to the school’s vision, mission, values, and academic expectations, ensuring a collaborative start to the educational journey.

Entrance Examination Details

There is no entrance examination required to enroll in the Plus Two streams.
