Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM) announces the opening of admission to its constituent program, Bachelor in Professional Hospitality (BPH), for Fall 2026.

Bachelor in Professional Hospitality offers one of the most innovative industry-focused apprenticeship models in hospitality education. The students enrolled will be “Learning-by-doing”. Distinctive features of the program are enhanced real-world learning, globally accredited program, placements of students in the best hospitality organizations, tailor-made learning for students with competency-based evaluation criteria, and promotion of indigenous elements of Nepali culture and cuisine in the curriculum with intensive practical based learning.

One of the main objectives of this program is to make hospitality and tourism education accessible to students, especially those coming from marginalized socio-economic backgrounds.

Eligibility

  • Nepali or non-Nepali national with a 10+2 or intermediate or equivalent level study program of at least two-year duration in any discipline

  • Minimum of 40% in aggregate or CGPA of 1.6 on the scale of 4.0 and minimum 'D+' grade in each subject from a university/board recognized by Kathmandu University.

  • For CTEVT Students: Students should have a three-year diploma with 40% in aggregate. CBSE students should have a minimum 40% in aggregate. 

  • For GCE Advanced Level students: Students should have passed a minimum of three subjects in A Level and one general paper in AS Level with the marks/grades requirements as mentioned above.

  • For International Baccalaureate (IB): Students should have passed a minimum of 6 courses (at least 3 courses in Higher Level) with 24 points in aggregate.
