Xavier Academy, an innovative educational establishment situated in the center of Kathmandu in Lazimpat, is now open for admissions for the academic year 2082 for the following programs:

Entrance Exam Schedule

Exam Days & Time:

  • Monday 30 June 2025 – 7:30 AM
  • Wednesday 2 July 2025 – 7:30 AM
  • Friday 4 July 2025 – 7:30 AM

Eligibility

To be eligible for admission to the 10+2 program in Science or Management, candidates must have passed the latest SEE (Secondary Education Examination) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.

Only the most recent SEE or equivalent results will be accepted for admission to Class XI. Additionally, candidates interested in other courses offered by Xavier Academy must meet the specified eligibility criteria, which will be published prior to the start of the admission process.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Merit-Based Scholarships

These scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence across various assessments:

1. District Topper Scholarship

  • Eligibility: Students who are district toppers.
  • Award: Tuition waivers ranging from 25% to 100%.

2. Entrance Exam Merit Scholarship

  • Eligibility: Top 3 students in each stream based on Xavier Academy's entrance exam.
  • Award: Tuition waivers of 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%.xa.edu.np

3. Term Exam Merit Scholarship

  • Eligibility: Top 2 students in each stream, including at least one girl, based on first-term exam results.
  • Award: Tuition waivers of 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%.

4. Grade XI NEB Exam Scholarship

  • Eligibility: Top 2 students in each stream based on NEB Grade XI exam results.
  • Award: Tuition waivers of 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%.

 Other Scholarships & Financial Aid

These scholarships aim to support students based on financial need, gender, or staff affiliation:

1. NEB Scholarship

  • Eligibility: Up to 3% of total Grade XI enrollment, as recommended in writing by the National Examination Board (NEB).
  • Award: 100% tuition waiver.

2. Gender-Based Scholarship

  • Eligibility: Needy girl students.
  • Award: 100% tuition waiver.

3. Bob and Jang Scholarship

  • Eligibility: Financially weak girl students.
  • Award: Full or partial tuition and/or other fees waiver.

4. Staff Ward Scholarship

  • Eligibility: Sons/daughters of full-time staff members of Xavier Academy.
  • Award: 100% tuition waiver and 50% discount in admission and annual fees.

5. Financial Aid

  • Eligibility: Deserving and needy students.
  • Award: 25% to 50% tuition waiver. Applicants must submit all necessary documents.

Admission Procedure

Prospective candidates are required to fill out the application form and provide copies of their recent mark sheets, transcripts, certificates, and a current photograph.

Those who meet the eligibility criteria will be required to take an Entrance Examination. Admission to Class XI, as well as other courses, will be determined based on a combination of the candidate's overall SEE performance, Entrance Examination score, and performance during the entrance interview.
