Kathmandu Forestry College (KAFCOL) annouthat admissions are open for the Diploma in Forestry program, affiliated with CTEVT for the academic year 2081/82.
Students who have completed SLC or SEE and have chosen English, Mathematics, or Science and have received at least a C in two of the three subjects and a D+ in the remaining subject.
The major subject areas include Silviculture, Agroforestry, Forest Management, Forest Mensuration, Soil and Water Conservation, Eco-Tourism and Recreation, Entrepreneurship Development and Wildlife and Bio-diversity Conservation, Community forestry, Forest protection, NTFPs.
Excursions, study tours, and exposure visits are all part of the program. These excursions and visits are coordinated with district forest offices, protected area offices, district soil conservation offices, and forest-based entrepreneurs.
