Universities in Nepal Must Promote Research-based Education

Dr. Jay Prakash Goit of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Kindai University in Japan compares Nepal's engineering education to that of foreign countries. The biggest difference, he says, is that colleges in other countries set aside a significant amount of money for research, which raises their educational standards.
