Status and Issues of Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU)

Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU), which was established in the year 2010, and is situated in its Central Office is at Rampur, Chitwan. It is the first university in Nepal that is based on Land Grant Model, with the mandate of conducting instruction (teaching), research, and extension programs for agriculture and forestry development in the country.
