The agriculture sector plays a vital role for the overall development of the country. According to the International Labour Organisation, agriculture provides livelihoods for 68 percent of Nepal's population, contributing 34 percent to its GDP. On the other hand, forest contributes multitude of ways to sustainable agricultural productions and food security. Being an agricultural country, it has a huge scope. Agriculture and Forestry both are interrelated which influence our economy. Demand for Forestry Education is increasing due to the impact of Climate Change and Biodiversity. Similarly, there is tremendous opportunity and scope in agriculture due to climate change and its impact thus, create a major challenge and priority for the country to flourish.
