Bachelors of Fine Arts (BFA) - Suitability and Eligibility

This video provides information about studying for a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Anyone who has an innate quality of playing musical instruments, drama or special artistry skills, can pursue a bachelor's degree in the subject matter. Lalitkala Campus is providing education and mentoring to the students who have taken the course to build up their careers. For students to be eligible for Bachelors in Fine Arts(BFA), Lalitkala, they have to complete 12th Grade in any stream, then after taking entrance exams, they will be able to join the course.

In order to join BFA in KU, the potential candidate must have an interest in the subject matter. The course is not only about art and design, but also it is believed that students that are not good at Math and Science take such education which is totally wrong concept. Anyone who has a passion for Fine Arts should be able to take the course and develop a career in the profession.

The episode of edutalk had guest speakers who have been working in the profession including Dr. Ramesh Pokharel, Associate Professor and Chief of Lalitkala Campus, and Kausal Joshi, Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator of Kathmandu University, Department of Art and Design.The 

Bachelor of Fine Arts program is offered in Nepal by both Tribhuvan University and Kathmandu University.
