Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU) has been established as a result of a bill enacted by the Nepalese Parliament in June 2010 at Rampur, Chitwan constituting two campuses under Tribhuvan University; Agriculture Campus, Rampur, Chitwan, and the Forestry Campus, Hetauda, Makawanpur. The University Complex of Agriculture and Forestry University and its Central Office is at Rampur, Chitwan.
