The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology of Nepal has announced an opening for the Executive Director position at the Radio Broadcasting Service Development Committee (Radio Nepal). Eligibility

  •  
  • Applicants must be between 30 and 65 years of age by the application deadline.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized university is required.
  • Candidates should have experience as a Chief Editor, Editor, Publisher, or Manager of a registered media outlet, or have worked in an academic or policy-making position related to mass communication.
  • Alternatively, applicants must have at least seven years of experience in journalism and mass communication.
  • Experience in an officer-level position in government service or a public institution, authority, board, committee, commission, foundation, or public company is necessary, or candidates should be retired from such a position.
  • Applicants must not have been penalized for violating the Journalist Code of Conduct.
  • Candidates must not be disqualified for appointment under the prevailing laws of Nepal.

Required Documents

  • Submit a Cover Letter expressing interest in the position.
  • Include a Personal Bio-Data, detailing qualifications and experience.
  • Provide a Copy of the Nepali Citizenship Certificate.
  • Attach Copies of Educational Qualification Certificates (including an equivalency certificate if the degree is from a foreign institution).
  • Provide Copies of Experience Certificates, clearly stating the duration of service.
  • Submit a sealed Professional Work Plan of up to 5,000 words in the Nepali language, typed on A4 paper, with the applicant's name only on the cover page and no identifying marks or names elsewhere.
  • Include a Self-Declaration confirming that the applicant does not hold or has not obtained a permanent residency permit from any foreign country.
  • Attach Copies of any Other Relevant Documents related to the position, if applicable.
