Tribhuvan University (TU) has initiated an open competition for the selection of the Vice-Chancellor, as announced by the Selection and Recommendation Committee responsible for proposing candidates for the position.
Eligibility
- Candidate should be a graduate from a recognized university.
- Candidate must be appointed to the post of a professor in a university in accordance with prevailing laws, having gained relevant experience.
- Candidate must meet the qualification requirements for appointment to public office according to prevailing laws.
- Candidate should have no conflict of interest with Tribhuvan University.
- Candidate must be a Nepali citizen.
- Candidate must not be a member of any political party at the time of application.
Required Documents
- Copy of postgraduate and above educational qualification certificates.
- Copy of the appointment letter as a professor.
- Details and proof of administrative or managerial experience in a university or institution, in accordance with prevailing laws, or any domestic or foreign university or similar higher educational institution or body.
- Details and evidence of successful completion of academic research projects.
- University vision paper with a maximum of 3000 words.
- Four-year professional work plan for Tribhuvan University with a maximum of 5000 words.
- Self-declaration letter affirming non-qualification for appointment to public office and non-membership in any political party, in accordance with prevailing laws.
- Self-declaration letter confirming no conflict of interest with Tribhuvan University.
- Copy of Nepali citizenship.
