Vacancy Details

Position: Professor

Department/Areas Required Number Minimum Requirements
Public Health One
  1. Should have PhD + Master degree in Public Health or equivalent qualification in the respective subject together with experience of four years as an Associate Professor, and
  2. Minimum of two researches and two research/original articles published in indexed national/international journals as the first author at the level of Associate Professor.

Position: Associate Professor

Department/Areas Required Number Minimum Requirements
Surgery Two
  1. Should have postgraduate degree or equivalent qualification in the respective subject together with experience of three years as Assistant Professor, and
  2. Should have minimum of two researches and one research/original article published in indexed national/international scientific journals as first author at the level of Assistant Professor.
  3. For Dental and Physiotherapy programs, minimum of two articles published in indexed national/international scientific journals as first author at the level of Assistant Professor will apply. Or
  4. Equivalence of teachers holding position recognized by the Kathmandu University.

  2. Should have minimum of two research/original articles as the first author in indexed national/international scientific journals. Or
  3. Equivalence of teachers holding position recognized by the Kathmandu University.

  2. For Public Health Program, candidates should have a minimum of one year of teaching experience after postgraduate qualification.

The following documents need to be submitted with the application:

  1. Copies of Marksheet - SLC and above
  2. Copies of degrees - SLC and above
  3. Concern council's registration certificate bachelors and above
  4. Appointment letter of present position
  5. Updated CV
  6. Copy of Citizenship
  7. Copies of Experience certificates after postgraduate
  8. Copies of original/research articles as first author as per KUSMS norms
  9. Recommendation letter from the Head of Department

The appointment to the vacant posts is subject to the fulfillment of the selection requirements and processes by the candidates as specified in the relevant University Rules, Directives, and Decisions.
