Job Summary
The Finance and Administration Officer requires to handle all administration and finance-related job roles that include budgeting expenses, HR handling, and client relationship management. The position designates on preparing balance sheets and reconciling them with organizational expenses. Also, one holds a responsibility to maintain a reflective relation with clients on ensuring qualitative services and, in return, clearances of service charges from clients. The officer is also the key person to all other departments for handling office-related matters.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Finance
- Keeping up-to-date with accounting variables including bank account(s), balance sheet reconciliations, monthly closing, and timely financial report submission.
- Handling clients for processing invoices and collecting outstanding payments.
- Keeping compliance with government policies and regulations, including taxes, external audits, and/or any legal requirements.
- Managing expenses along with record keeping and invoice reconciliation.
Maintaining up-to-date and accurate accounting in accounting software and a proper paper filing system.
2. Reporting and Budgeting
- Planning and preparing monthly and annual budgeting plans, and ensuring approval of the plans.
- Preparing monthly financial reports and reporting to the management on the financial health of the company.
- Preparing monthly salary sheet.
- Assisting in preparing plans for client proposals in accordance with organization services.
3. Staff Management and Administration
- Checking attendance of staff and handling irregularities in attendance.
- Supervising and administering office and employees on admin-related roles ensuring proper functioning.
- Reinforcement of policies and procedures of the organization, and ensuring its compliance with the Nepal labor act.
- Handling procurements and maintaining inventories.
Facilitating events and meetings. - Maintaining proper functioning of office resources.
4. Others
Any office and job-related decisions and suggestions required and requested by the organization and the management team must come in handy.
