Application Process
Interested candidates can apply online through the official Nepali Army website: www.nepalarmy.mil.np. After completing the online application form, applicants should either print a hard copy and submit it at the designated recruitment center or visit the recruitment center directly to finalize their application. A nominal fee of Rs. 10 (Ten Rupees) must be affixed to the application form.

Requirements
- Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for the respective positions.

Application Fees
- Soldier Positions: Rs. 150/-
- Trades Followers Positions: Rs. 100/-
- Additional Charges: For multiple group applications under the same advertisement, an additional 20% fee per group is required.
Fee Submission Process:
- Deposit the application fee to the bank account specified by the recruitment center using account code 14224 for examination fees.
- Attach the original and one copy of the payment voucher with the application form.
Eligibility Criteria
A. Educational Qualifications
- For Soldiers:
- Minimum Grade 8 pass with a GPA of 2.0 or above (no grade below D+).
- For SEE/Secondary level qualifications, a minimum GPA of 2.0 is required.
- Candidates with higher academic qualifications must submit copies of all certificates, including SEE and above.
- For Trades Followers:
- Basic literacy (ability to read and write) is mandatory.
B. Physical Requirements

For Soldiers:
- Male Candidates: Minimum height of 5 feet 3 inches, chest 32-34 inches, and weight of at least 50 kg (110 lbs).
- Female Candidates: Minimum height of 5 feet and weight of at least 40 kg (88 lbs).

For Trades Followers:
- Male Candidates: Minimum height of 5 feet 2 inches, chest 30-32 inches, and weight of at least 50 kg (110 lbs).
- Female Candidates: Minimum height of 4 feet 10 inches and weight of at least 40 kg (88 lbs).

Vision Requirement: Candidates must have 6/6 vision or corrected vision not exceeding +2.0.
C. Other Qualifications
- Must be certified as physically fit by an authorized Nepal Army health officer.
- Must have a clean criminal record and no history of unethical behavior.
- Must not be affiliated with any political party or subversive organizations.
- Additional requirements are outlined in the Sainik Seva Niyamawali, 2069.
Age Limits
Candidates must meet the following age criteria by the final application date (2081/08/29):
- Soldiers: Between 18 and 22 years (up to 26 years for current Nepal Army personnel).
- Trades Followers: Between 18 and 26 years.
For Current Nepal Army Personnel
- Must have completed at least one year of service by 2081/08/29.
- A recommendation letter from the commanding officer is required.
Required Documents
Candidates must submit the following certified copies (self-attested) in a file folder. Originals must be presented during the application process:
- Nepalese Citizenship Certificate
- Academic Certificates: Transcripts, Character Certificate, and Original/Provisional Certificates for all educational levels.
- For certificates from foreign institutions, equivalency from Tribhuvan University is required.
- Additional Qualifications (if available): Extracurricular achievements or specialized training.
- For Dependents of Deceased or Disabled Army Personnel: Proof of dependency and verification of personnel's death or disability.
Photographs
- Passport-size Photographs: 4 (clear facial features, ears visible; no beard or long hair for males).

Salary, Allowances, and Benefits
Selected candidates will receive salary, allowances, and benefits as per Nepal Army Rules and Regulations.
Additional Conditions
- Government or semi-government employees must submit departmental approval with their application.
- Candidates under the inclusive quota may only apply under one category (e.g., Indigenous, Dalit, or Madhesi), except women, who may apply under multiple quotas.
- Married candidates are ineligible, except for currently serving personnel.
- Applicants may apply to only one recruitment center for the same position.
