Age Limit

Individuals must have reached the age of 18 by Baisakh 17, 2081, and should not surpass 35 years of age. However, women and disabled candidates must not exceed 40 years, while those applying for health services positions must not exceed 45 years of age.

Eligibility

  • Assistant Sub-Engineer, Engineering (Civil): Successful completion of SLC/SEE or its equivalent from a recognized educational institution, with specialized training in the relevant field. Alternatively, completion of TSLC/SEE course in the relevant subject from a technical institute, or SLC/SEE or equivalent with a focus on technical and professional subjects related to civil engineering at the secondary level is required.
  • Water and Sanitation Technician, Engineering (Civil, Sanitary): Completion of SLC/SEE or equivalent from a recognized educational institution is necessary, along with training in Water and Sanitation, or a minimum of two years of experience in a related field. Alternatively, passing SLC/SEE in technical and professional subjects related to Civil Engineering at the secondary level is accepted.
  • Amin, Engineering (Survey): Successful completion of SLC/SEE or equivalent from a recognized educational institution, along with at least one year of training in Survey or Geomatics.
  • Junior Technical Assistant (JTA), Agriculture (Soil Science, Horticulture, Crop Protection, Agricultural Extension): Completion of SLC/SEE from a recognized educational institution is required, along with a minimum of one-year JTA (Agriculture) training, or passing TSLC/SEE in Agriculture subject.
  • Junior Animal Health Technician, Agriculture (Veterinary): Completion of SLC/SEE from a recognized educational institution is mandatory, along with a minimum of one-year JTA (Animal Husbandry/Animal Health) training or passing TSLC/SEE in Agriculture (Animal Husbandry/Animal Health).
  • Junior Animal Service Technician, Agriculture (Lapodade): Successful completion of SLC/SEE from a recognized educational institution is required, along with a minimum of one-year JTA (Animal Science/Animal Husbandry/Animal Health) training or a focus on Agriculture (Animal Husbandry/Animal Health/Animal Science) subjects at the secondary level.
  • Assistant Women Development Inspector, Miscellaneous: Passing SLC/SEE or equivalent from a recognized educational institution is necessary.
  • Assistant Computer Operator, Miscellaneous: Passing SLC/SEE or its equivalent with a specialization in computer subjects from a recognized educational institution is required. Alternatively, passing SLC/SEE or equivalent and completing at least three months of computer training from a registered institution, or receiving three months of computer training conducted by the Ministry of Science and Technology (currently Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology) for Semi-skilled Manpower, is accepted.
  • Medicine, Health (Ayurveda): Successful completion of SLC/SEE or its equivalent from a recognized educational institution, along with passing a one-year Assistant Ayurveda Worker Course, is mandatory.
  • AHW, Health Inspection: Passing AHW or CMA course or its equivalent from a recognized educational institution is required.
  • ANM, Health (Junior Nursing): Passing ANM course or its equivalent from a recognized educational institution is mandatory.
  • Lab Assistant, Health (MLT, JMLT): Completion of SLC/SEE or equivalent from a recognized educational institution, along with the successful completion of a one-year Lab Assistant course, is necessary.

Note: Following the adoption of the grading system, candidates who have passed SLC/SEE or its equivalent are required to attain a grade point average (GPA) of 2 or above to meet the minimum qualification criteria.

For Open and Inclusive Examinations

Candidates must not be disqualified according to the prevailing Civil Service Act (Section 10 of the Civil Service Act, 2049) and Section 12 of the Health Service Act, 2053.

For positions conducted in two stages, i.e., first stage and second stage, only candidates who have passed the first stage will be eligible to participate in the second stage. To pass the first phase examination, candidates must obtain a minimum of 40 (forty) percent marks. Fifty percent of the marks obtained in the first phase examination will be calculated based on the total marks obtained in the second phase examination.

Only female applicants are eligible to apply for the position of Assistant Women Development Inspector in the Miscellaneous Services category.

The written examination for open and inclusive categories will be conducted in one sitting, on the same date and time. Separate examinations will not be held for each service/group and open and inclusive categories.

When announcing the results of the selected candidates from the open and inclusive written test, all services and groups will be listed in alphabetical order.

Candidates selected in the written test must prioritize the local levels before participating in the computer skill test and interview. Candidates who fail to attend the skill test/practical test will not be considered for the interview.

Candidates selected through the written test in the inclusive category will not have the option to choose the priority order of the inclusive group. The inclusion group of the candidate will be determined based on the inclusion groups mentioned in the application form, following the prevailing rules of the Commission.

The program will be organized in a manner that candidates selected in the open and inclusive categories, and more than one inclusive group for computer practical or skill test and interview from the written test in the open and inclusive categories, will participate in the computer skill test and interview only once. The score of the computer practical or skill test and interview will be considered for all groups (open and inclusive) in which the candidate has passed.

Upon completion of all stages of examination, candidates will be recommended for appointment based on the merit order obtained and the priority order of the chosen local level by the candidate.

Instructions for Candidates Applying in Inclusive Groups

  • Candidates intending to apply for positions within the inclusive group must assemble the following documents and submit them at the time of application. Upon being selected for the interview based on the written test results, candidates must bring copies of these documents, along with self-attested copies. Failure to submit the required documents with the application may result in the cancellation of the application at any point.
  • For tribal/indigenous individuals: Proof of inclusion in the National Foundation for Development of Indigenous Nationalities (NFDIN) Act, listed according to the same list. In cases where there are multiple surnames within the tribe as listed in the Nepal Tribal/Tribal Upliftment National Foundation Act, certification by the chief district officer, upon the recommendation of the relevant local level authority, confirming the surname within the caste.
  • For Madheshi candidates: Documentation certified by the Government of Nepal confirming Madhesi identity, obtained from an institution as specified by publication in the Nepal Gazette. Alternatively, certification as a Madhesi by the chief district officer, upon recommendation of the relevant local level authority, until an institution is designated after publication in the Nepal Gazette.
  • For Dalit candidates: Identification based on the same list as castes listed by the National Dalit Commission. In instances where there are multiple surnames within the caste listed by the National Dalit Commission, certification by the chief district officer as a surname within the listed caste, upon recommendation of the relevant local level authority.
