Koshi Province Public Service Commission (PPSC Koshi Pradesh) is inviting applications for open and inclusive competitive examinations to fill permanent positions in the Province Civil Service and Local Service within the Health Service Group and its sub-groups.
These vacancies are announced in accordance with the Karnali Province Civil Service Act, 2080, and the Local Service (Formation and Operation) Act, 2081.

Examination Format and Application Details
The competitive exams will include written tests, group tests, and interviews. Examinations will be held in Birendranagar, Surkhet, with an application fee of NPR 1,000 per position, plus an additional NPR 400 for each inclusive category group application.
Payments can be made online via designated wallets or offline at authorized banks. Candidates must ensure all details and supporting documents are accurate and uploaded as per instructions on the PPSC portal.
Eligibility and Age Requirements
Applicants must meet the qualifications specified by the Civil Service Act and not be disqualified under Section 20 of the relevant acts. Candidates must be between 21 to 35 years of age (40 for female candidates) by the application deadline. Age restrictions do not apply to permanent employees in federal, provincial, or local services.

Applicants must be registered with the relevant professional council and have their registration valid as of the final application date.
Required Educational Qualifications

Medical Officer (Public Health Services): MBBS or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution.

Ayurvedic Doctor (Ayurveda, General Ayurveda): Bachelor’s degree in Ayurvedic Medicine from a recognized institution.

Dental Surgeon (Dentistry, General Dental): B.D.Sc. or B.D.S. degree from a recognized institution.
Open and Inclusive Examination Information
- The results of the written examination for open and inclusive categories will be published in alphabetical order for all groups and subgroups.
- Candidates who pass the written examination must complete the priority order of office preferences before proceeding to the group test and interview. Candidates who are absent from the group test will not be eligible to participate in the interview.
- For those selected under the inclusive category, priority selection is not allowed; the inclusive group will be assigned based on the candidate's application form and the Commission’s guidelines.
- Candidates qualifying for multiple groups may only compete from a single group of their choice.
- Candidates selected for both open and inclusive categories will take the group test and interview only once, with their scores applied to all eligible groups.
- Appointments will be recommended based on the final merit order after all examination stages, taking into account the priority order chosen by the candidate.
Special Instructions for Inclusive Category Applicants
Candidates applying under the inclusive category must submit all required documents during the application process. Those selected for the group test and interview must bring the original documents along with self-certified copies. Failure to provide these documents at any stage may lead to application rejection.

For Khas Arya:
- A document listing the caste or community as specified by the National Inclusive Commission, or
- A certification verified by the Chief District Officer (CDO) from the local authority confirming the caste falls within the Khas Arya category.

For Dalits:
- A document listing the caste or community as specified by the National Dalit Commission, or
- A certification verified by the CDO from the local authority confirming the caste falls within the Dalit category.

For Indigenous Nationalities (Adibasi Janajati):
- A document listing the caste or community as specified in the Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities Act, 2058, or
- A certification verified by the CDO from the local authority confirming the caste falls within the Indigenous Nationalities category.

For Candidates from Backward Areas:
- A permanent residency certificate specifying the local level in Karnali Pradesh, as per Rule 11(1) of the Karnali Pradesh Civil Service Regulation, 2080.
- A certificate issued by the local authority confirming current residency in the same area.

For People with Disabilities:
- A disability identity card issued by the Social Welfare Council, or
- A disability identity card issued by the local authority, indicating the type of disability, as per Section 4(3) of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2074.

Only candidates who pass all stages will be recommended for appointment based on final merit and priority orders. The PPSC Act and its directives will govern any matters not specified in the notice.
