The Barista Program at United Technical School (UTS) offers a comprehensive journey into the world of specialty coffee. Affiliated with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), this course equips aspiring baristas with both foundational techniques and intermediate skills, setting them up for a successful career in the growing coffee industry.

Through immersive, 80% hands-on training, students gain practical expertise in espresso extraction, milk steaming, latte art, and manual brewing methods including Aeropress, V60, Chemex, and more. Participants also explore the global coffee journey — from farm to cup — while learning about flavour profiling, café workflow, customer service, and modern trends in the third and fourth-wave coffee culture.

Upon successful completion, graduates receive a prestigious BARISTA certificate, opening doors to both local and international opportunities in the coffee sector.
