Students from classes 1 and above are divided in four different houses. Various competitions are organized every Sunday among these four houses. They are: Quiz contest, Speech, Debate, Poetry, Essay writing, Handwriting, Story writing, Drama, Spelling bee, Wall magazine publication, etc.
With our Reaching Out Programs such as Scouts, Interact Club, Junior Red Cross, we provide our students the opportunities for developing leadership, teamwork, and social growth. Students are involved in social awareness programs such as child rights, human rights, women empowerment, gender discrimination, nature conservation, cybercrime, and anti-drug campaign.
United School believes that the students can learn more by visiting the real places than by studying about them merely through books. Excursions are organized for students to visit places of archaeological, historical, geographical and developmental importance in and around Kathmandu. The students of grades 8 and 9 are also taken on a trip to different parts of the country. Students from grade 10 are exposed to the international tours as well.
