Thulung Dudhkoshi Technical College

Thulung Dudhkoshi Technical College (TDTC) is the first and finest technical school in the Solukhumbu region and among its neighboring districts. Recognising this gap between skilled manpower and population density, TDTC has initiated a Diploma in Civil Engineering program to enhance the technical knowledge and skills of young people, aligning with the demands of the engineering labour force. However, the program will be expanded to technical courses in other fields in the upcoming years.

TDTC believes that everyone should have access to equal opportunities, regardless of their social, economic, or geographical situations. Therefore, we aim to provide affordable and quality education to the students of the Solukhumbu region and its neighboring districts, preparing them to enter the professional job market directly after completing the course. The technical program aspires to promote sustainable development by encouraging local resource use and increasing participation and ownership of the community people in development works.

Apart from a well-developed curriculum, other salient features of the course include Guest Lectures from field experts in different areas of civil engineering, government project officers, and University professors. Students will also be able to participate in workshops/ seminars on civil engineering, which is an essential part of learning and a wonderful opportunity for building networking skills.
