Thakre Rural Municipality is one of the 13 municipalities in Dhading District of Bagmati Province. As per the 2021 census, the rural municipality has a total population of 32,374, comprising 16,204 males (50.1%) and 16,170 females (49.9%), with a literacy rate of 74.32%.
