As per the 2021 census, the metropolitan city has a total population of 513,504, comprising 247,495 males (48.2%) and 266,009 females (51.8%), with a literacy rate of 88.72%. Spanning 464.24 square kilometers, Pokhara Metropolitan City exhibits the population density of 1,106 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 33 wards.
