Lamkichuha Municipality is one of the 13 municipalities in Kailali District of Sudurpashchim Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 90,971, comprising 42,441 males (46.7%) and 48,530 females (53.3%), with a literacy rate of 75.92%. Spanning 225.0 square kilometers, Lamkichuha Municipality exhibits the population density of 404 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 10 wards.

The breakdown includes 80 pre-schools, 91 basic schools, and 39 secondary schools. Among the secondary schools, 12 offer +2 programs.
