Helambu Rural Municipality is one of the 12 municipalities in Sindhupalchok District of Bagmati Province. As per the 2021 census, the rural municipality has a total population of 17,497, comprising 8,781 males (50.2%) and 8,716 females (49.8%), with a literacy rate of 63.55%. Spanning 287.26 square kilometers, Helambu Rural Municipality exhibits the population density of 61 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 7 wards.
