Gulariya Municipality is one of the 8 municipalities in Bardiya District of Lumbini Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 74,505, comprising 36,727 males (49.3%) and 37,778 females (50.7%), with a literacy rate of 70.05%. Spanning 118.21 square kilometers, Gulariya Municipality exhibits the population density of 630 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 12 wards.
