Gauriganga Municipality is one of the 13 municipalities in Kailali District of Sudurpashchim Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 64,558, comprising 29,691 males (46.0%) and 34,867 females (54.0%), with a literacy rate of 75.17%.
