Bheriganga Municipality is one of the 9 municipalities in Surkhet District of Karnali Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 48,203, comprising 22,538 males (46.8%) and 25,665 females (53.2%), with a literacy rate of 81.15%. Spanning 256.2 square kilometers, Bheriganga Municipality exhibits the population density of 188 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 13 wards.
According to the latest publicly available report of the Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD), Bheriganga has 66 schools. Of these, 14 are private and 52 are public.
