Barahakshetra Municipality is one of the 12 municipalities in Sunsari District of Koshi Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 91,087, comprising 42,997 males (47.2%) and 48,090 females (52.8%), with a literacy rate of 77.94%.
