Public Schools in Banganga

Banganga Municipality is one of the 10 municipalities in Kapilvastu District of Lumbini Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 96,714, comprising 45,407 males (46.9%) and 51,307 females (53.1%), with a literacy rate of 81.44%. Spanning 233.68 square kilometers, Banganga Municipality exhibits the population density of 414 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 11 wards.

According to the latest publicly available report of the Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD), Banganga has 85 schools. Of these, 29 are private and 51 are public. The breakdown includes 69 pre-schools, 76 basic schools, and 33 secondary schools. Among the secondary schools, 13 offer +2 programs.
