Secondary Schools in Tokha

Tokha Municipality is one of the 11 municipalities in Kathmandu District of Bagmati Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 133,755, comprising 66,532 males (49.7%) and 67,223 females (50.3%), with a literacy rate of 91.05%. Spanning 17.11 square kilometers, Tokha Municipality exhibits the population density of 7,817 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 11 wards.

According to the latest publicly available report of the Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD), Tokha has 95 schools. Of these, 83 are private and 12 are public. The breakdown includes 57 pre-schools, 86 basic schools, and 74 secondary schools. Among the secondary schools, 22 offer +2 programs.
