Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality is one of the 16 municipalities in Rupandehi District of Lumbini Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 87,383, comprising 43,164 males (49.4%) and 44,219 females (50.6%), with a literacy rate of 71.14%. Spanning 112.21 square kilometers, Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality exhibits the population density of 779 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 13 wards.

According to the latest publicly available report of the Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD), Lumbini Sanskritik has 89 schools. Of these, 19 are private and 34 are public. The breakdown includes 80 pre-schools, 89 basic schools, and 16 secondary schools. Among the secondary schools, 5 offer +2 programs.
