Dhulikhel Municipality is one of the 13 municipalities in Kavrepalanchok District of Bagmati Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 33,726, comprising 16,462 males (48.8%) and 17,264 females (51.2%), with a literacy rate of 80.13%. Spanning 55.0 square kilometers, Dhulikhel Municipality exhibits the population density of 613 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 12 wards.

According to the latest publicly available report of the Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD), Dhulikhel has 42 schools. Of these, 12 are private and 30 are public. The breakdown includes 33 pre-schools, 38 basic schools, and 19 secondary schools. Among the secondary schools, 5 offer +2 programs.
