Arjundhara Municipality is one of the 15 municipalities in Jhapa District of Koshi Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 84,018, comprising 40,180 males (47.8%) and 43,838 females (52.2%), with a literacy rate of 84.41%. Spanning 109.86 square kilometers, Arjundhara Municipality exhibits the population density of 765 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 11 wards.

According to the latest publicly available report of the Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD), Arjundhara has 62 schools. Of these, 29 are private and 29 are public. The breakdown includes 50 pre-schools, 62 basic schools, and 24 secondary schools. Among the secondary schools, 5 offer +2 programs.
