Fateh-Bal Eye Hospital College of Ophthalmic Science

Fateh-Bal Eye Hospital College of Ophthalmic Science is a distinguished institution dedicated to producing skilled eye care professionals in Nepal. Located in Nepalgunj, a major city in the mid-western region, the college operates under the affiliation of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) and offers a comprehensive three-year Diploma in Ophthalmic Science.

Established in 1986 through a collaboration with the Swiss Red Cross, Fateh-Bal Eye Hospital has grown into a 150-bedded, well-equipped secondary-level eye hospital recognized by the Ministry of Health, Government of Nepal, for its excellence in ophthalmic services. The hospital also serves as a training hub for MBBS interns in ophthalmology and is acknowledged for its tertiary-level comprehensive Low Vision Programme.
