Scholarship Categories
Nepal Gaurav Scholarship (University Fellowship)
Only for Nepali citizen
Based on excellent academic credentials and extra curricular activities
Minimum: 1 Male + 1 Female per intake.
Selection: Portfolio, interview, Chancellor approval.
Award levels: 100% tuition fee
Renewal: Subject to minimum CGPA requirement and good conduct.
Merit-Based Scholarships (Up to 10% of intake)
Based on aggregated admission scores.
Award levels: 100%, 75%, 50% tuition.
Renewal: Subject to academic standing and good conduct.
Reserved Category Scholarships (Up to 10% of intake)
As per Government of Nepal and UGC guidelines.
Prioritize applicants with disabilities, and from disadvantaged and marginalized communities, groups, martyr families, and applicants from remote regions.
Award levels: 100%, 75%, 50% tuition.
Requires official documentation.
Renewal: Subject to minimum CGPA requirement and good conduct.
Partnership Scholarships (Up to 10% of intake)
Funded through collaboration with local/provincial governments, NGOs/INGOs, corporate CSR, donors.
Award levels: 100%, 75%, 50% tuition.
Governed through formal MoUs and transparent reporting.
Renewal: Minimum CGPA requirement and good conduct.
Endowment Scholarships
Established through donor agreements and long-term sustainability planning.
Award levels: as per agreement with the endowment provider
Renewal: Minimum CGPA requirement and good conduct.
Application Process
Merit scholarships: Automatic consideration during admission documents review.
Nepal Gaurav, Reserved, and Partnership scholarships: Separate application required.
