University Grants Commission(UGC) has announced scholarships for higher education for the children of martyrs and conflict victims. The scholarships are available for the applicants currently studying at the bachelor's level, who fulfill the minimum qualification as mentioned in the directive on scholarships for children of the martyrs and conflict victims 2076. Applicants must be under 30 years of age to be eligible for the scholarship.
Who can apply?
- Children of martyrs of the armed struggle and revolution;
- dependent children of those who died during the armed conflict;
- children of those who were rendered differently abled by the conflict and are unable to undertake any work owing to physical impediments; and
- children of the people whose whereabouts are still unknown after being abducted by conflicting parties during the revolution.
Interested applicants are requested to fill the application form in the format as specified (schedule 1) by the Commission and submit it to the campus/college/department they are currently enrolled in along with the required documents within Ashad 14, 2079 (June 28, 2022).
Campus/ colleges/ departments are required to further submit a separate application in the format as specified (schedule 2) by the commission and submit it along with the required documents to the Commission within the office hours by Ashad 20, 2079 (July 04, 2022).
