TU Rector Office Opens Applications for Various Prizes

Tribhuvan University, Office of the Rector has issued a call for applications for the following prizes. On the occasion of Tribhuvan University's 64th Annual Day, on the recommendation of the Institute and Faculty within the university, cash awards and certificates will be provided to the awardee. 

The students who fulfill the criteria mentioned below are requested to apply within 15 days of publication of this notice.

Documents needed

Applicants should submit the following documents with the relevant campus/office letter to the Dean's office.

  1. Two/two copies of the Thesis
  2. Personal details (CV)
  3. Passport-sized photo
  4. Copy of citizenship
  5. Copies of educational qualification (including the transcript and original certificate of the Master's level).

Shri Krishna Chandra Regmi Award Quota- 1

a) Students under the Institute of Science and Technology or Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Management, Education, and Law Departments who have completed their research work (thesis) in the subject "Nepal Studies" and have passed the Master's level.

b) Cash amount of NPR 5,000/- (Five thousand rupees only) along with a certificate.

Shri Mahesh Chandra - Manadevi Regmi Award, Quota- 1

  1. Students under the faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences who have completed their research work (thesis) in the subject "Economics or History" and have passed the Master's level.
  2. Cash amount of NPR 20,001/- (Twenty thousand one rupees only) along with a certificate.

Shri Babu-krishna Rijal Award, Quota - 1

  1. Students under the faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences who have completed exceptional research work (thesis) in the subject "Nepali History, Culture, and Archaeology" and have passed with a First Division in the Master's level.
  2. Cash amount of NPR 25,001/- (Twenty-five thousand one rupees only) along with a certificate.

Belu Vishweshwar Chataut Smriti Award, Quota - 2 (Language Science - 1, Journalism - 1)

  1. Students of the Language Science and Journalism subjects of the faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences who have achieved the highest marks in any subject (completing all sections of the same topic) till the regular final examination of the academic year 2074-2076, and have participated or are eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony of the year 2079 and are listed in the grace list.
  2. Cash amount of NPR 25,000/- (Twenty-five thousand rupees only) along with a certificate.

Note:

  1. Certified letters of recommendation should be submitted from the respective campus.
  2. Students applying for the Belu Vishweshwar Chataut Smriti Award should not include their research papers (thesis).
  3. All the mentioned documents must be submitted compulsorily along with the application.
