SAHAS Nepal, a non-profit organization providing services in remote rural areas to empower vulnerable and marginalized communities, has invited Master's degree students to apply for thesis grants.
The research grant is aimed at assisting students in the final year of their master's program who are working on thesis proposal for conducting their research in Buddhiganga Municipality (Bajura), Chhayanath Rara Municipality (Mugu), Siddhicharan Municipality (Okhaldhunga), Udayapurgadhi Rural Municipality (Udayapur), Dhakari Rural Municipality (Achham), Kailari Rural Municipality (Kailali) and Tilagufa Municipality (Kalikot).

Eligibility
- Masters students should complete their first year.
- Dissertation should be done in the Project areas Buddhiganga Municipality (Bajura), Chhayanath Rara Municipality (Mugu), Siddhicharan Municipality (Okhaldhunga), Udayapurgadhi Rural Municipality (Udayapur), Dhakari Rural Municipality (Achham), Kailari Rural Municipality (Kailali) and Tilagufa (Kalikot).
- The research proposal should be in the following themes.
1. Climate change
2. Agro biodiversity and seed system
3. Agroecology
4. Water Resource Management
5. Soil Conservation
6. Forest Management and Agro- Forestry
7. Renewable Energy (Improved cooking stoves)

- A recommendation letter from the thesis supervisor and university/college is required for the application, with consent for applying for the grant.
