National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC) • Shuklaphanta Conservation Program (SCP) announces the call for proposal for student research grant from final year bachelor's and master's level Nepalese students to conduct thesis/ dissertation as part of partial fulfillment of academic degree. The amount of the grant will be NRs. 20,000/. for Bachelors and NRs. 30,000/-for Masters level. The research must be conducted at Shuklaphanta National Park or its buffer zone.
The research proposal should be on following themes:
- Wildlife and habitat management
- Protected Area and Ecosystem
- Nature Based Tourism
- Climate Change
- Human Wildlife Conflict
- Tourism management
Application package should contain the following:
- Cover letter
- Recommendation letter from institution and supervisor
- Research proposal (maximum 6 pages)
- Recent CV of researcher/s (maximum 2 pages)
The proposal (digital/hardcopy or both) should be submitted to NTNC-SCP by 30 January, 2019 in the following address.
