Madhyapur Thimi Municipality, Office of Municipal Executive, Thimi, Bhaktapur, has announced a scholarship for students studying in institutional schools under the municipality.
The scholarship prioritizes students from marginalized communities, such as the poor, women, dalits, children with disabilities, indigenous nationalities, minorities, conflict-affected children, and others. Eligible students from class 1 to 9 can apply for the scholarship for the academic year 2082.

According to the Education Act 2028, Section 16 (j) and the Education Regulations 2059, Rule 151, institutional schools are required to allocate scholarships to a certain percentage of students based on total enrollment.
