The Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology invites applications for scholarships in Engineering and Agriculture programs of undergraduate and postgraduate leve;s, which are granted by the Government of China. Eligible candidates are requested to submit their applications before the deadline.

Eligibility

  • Undergraduate applicants must be under 25 years old, while postgraduate applicants must be under 35 years old.
  • For Engineering: Applicants should have taken and successfully passed the most recent entrance examination administered by the Tribhuvan University, Institute of Engineering Studies, Pulchowk.
  • For Agriculture: Individuals applying for agriculture programs must have satisfactorily cleared the entrance examination conducted by the Tribhuvan University Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science Studies, Kirtipur.

Required Documents

  • Complete application form
  • Proof of the submitted application fee through a bank receipt.
  • A copy of Nepali citizenship certificate as verification.
  • Furnish details such as roll number, rank, merit, and subject information from relevant entrance examinations conducted by Tribhuvan University. This includes postgraduate level entrance exams for both the Institute of Engineering Studies, Pulchok, and the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science Studies, Kirtipur. Additionally, include details from the graduation level entrance exam for the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science Studies, Kirtipur (conducted in 2080).
  • Transcripts based on educational levels. For postgraduate level applicants, include transcripts of Bachelor Level, Class 12, or certificate level (or equivalent). For undergraduate level applicants, provide transcripts of Class 12 or certificate level (or equivalent) and the mark sheet of SEE/SLC examination.
  • If the educational qualification is obtained from outside Nepal, present a transcript or mark sheet from the relevant board, accompanied by an equivalency determination letter from the concerned curriculum development center.
  • In case of disparities in name, surname, or date of birth across documents, include a recommendation letter from the district administration office to confirm identity.
