The Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology invites applications from Nepali students for scholarships to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD-level studies for the academic year 2025/26. These scholarships are granted by the Government of China. Interested candidates who meet the specified qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Postgraduate Level
- Total Seats: 27

- Eligibility:
- Must have passed the entrance examination for the relevant subject at the Bachelor's level conducted by Tribhuvan University in the latest session.
- Applicants must not exceed 35 years of age.
- Application Deadline:
- From 8th Poush 2081 (December 23, 2024) to 28th Poush 2081 (January 12, 2025).
- Applications can be submitted through Google Form or via email in PDF format to applyscholarship@moest.gov.np.
- Required Documents:
- Filled application form
- Revenue payment receipt
- Copy of Citizenship Certificate
- Entrance exam details (Roll Number, Rank/Merit, Subject)
- Academic transcripts for SEE/SLC and Bachelor's level, along with equivalency certificates if applicable
- Recommendation letter for discrepancies in name, surname, or birth date
- Reservation documents for applicable candidates
- Merit List Preparation:
- The Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology will prepare the merit list based on entrance exam marks, rank/merit, and other documents.
- Priority for Reserved Seats:
- First priority to community school graduates; if unavailable, other Nepali school graduates will be considered.
PhD Level
- Total Seats: 40

- Eligibility:
- Must hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Age limit: Must not exceed 40 years.
- Application Deadline:
- From 8th Poush 2081 (December 23, 2024) to 28th Poush 2081 (January 12, 2025).
- Applications can be submitted online via the same Google Form or by email in PDF format to applyscholarship@moest.gov.np.
- Required Documents:
- A brief research proposal in the desired field.
