Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MOEST) on Baishakh 08 has called for application from eligible candidates to apply for scholarship to study Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSc Ag) in three constituent campuses of Tribhuvan University (TU).
The scholarship is to be administered through Gokuleshowor Agriculture and Animal Sciences College in Baitadi, Campus of Live Science in Fulbari of Dang, and Prithu Technical college in Lamahi of Dang.
A total of ten students will be awarded the scholarship for which they are asked to apply via email at applyscholarship@moest.gov.np before Baishakh 15 (April 29). The application form can be downloaded from here.
Application fee of NRS 1000 is required to be deposited with Rastriya Banijya Bank. A sample of the deposit voucher can be downloaded from here.

Requirements (regular)
- Applicant should have passed the BSc Ag entrance examination conducted in the academic year 2077 BS.
- Applicants are required to submit the scanned copies of the following:
- Completely filled application form
- Paid bank voucher
- Proof of citizenship
- Entrance examination details: Roll no (Rank/Merit) along with the subject
- Transcript of SEE/SLC, 10+2 level/ certificate level, or proof of having passed the equivalent level
- In case of degree acquired from abroad, applicants are required to present the mark sheet/transcript issued by the respective board along with pass verification certificate, provisional certificate/migration certificate as well as equivalency certificate issued by Curriculum Development Center
- In case of different first/last names or dates of birth in the citizenship certificate and education qualification certificates, applicants are required to produce a scanned copy of the letter of verification from the respective District Administration Office
Requirements (Reservation: community School group)
Along with the above-mentioned documents the applicants under the reservation category are also required to produce the following:
- A verification letter from the local authority or education coordination unit stating the schools they cleared their SLC/SEE from is a community government school.
- A recommendation letter from the respective municipality or rural municipality disclosing the reason for marginalization issued from Baishakh 9, 2078 BS till Baishakh 15, 2078 BS. The format for the letter can be downloaded from here.
- A recommendation letter proving one's association with the relevant marginalized community:
- Recommendation for Indigenous candidates: National Foundation for Development of Indigenous Nationalities (NFDIN) or respective District Administration Office/ local body
- Recommendation for Madhesi candidates: District Administration Office or respective local body
- Recommendation for Dalit candidates: Identity card issued either by the District Administration Office or respective local authority or related authorized body
- For the community school women category, documents, as listed in first and second numbers, are required.
*In case applicants do not tick any of the reservation categories, the application will be understood to be for the regular category.
Requirements (Reservation: other school group)
- Along with the regular documents, applicants are also required to produce proof of being associated with the respective marginalized community as mentioned above.
Eligibility
The MOEST will establish the eligibility on the basis of the merit/rank from the entrance examination as well as the documents submitted by those under the reservation category.
In the case of applicants under the other school group, first priority will be given to those who appear for students from the community school category that pass the entrance examination and submit all the required documents. Only when there are no applicants from the community schools category, other applicants from the same reservation community will be considered.
