Nepal's Medical Education Commission (MEC) has announced a scholarship opportunity for one Nepali student to pursue a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in Cuba for the academic year 2025. This scholarship is offered by the Cuban government.
The MEC has opened online applications for eligible Nepali candidates who meet the specified criteria.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must have appeared in the latest Integrated Entrance Examination for Bachelor Level Medical Education (MECEE-BL 2025) and be on the merit list for MBBS.
- Applicants should not have obtained a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for foreign studies.
- Candidates must not have been nominated for any other foreign scholarship.
- Applicants should not be enrolled in any other academic program.
- The age of the applicant should be between 16 and 25 years during the application period.
- Applicants must meet the scholarship selection criteria set by the Cuban government.
